If you’ve ever stopped to wonder why a RhinoHoist lifetime warranty (tanks) and five year warranty (frames) is better than another company’s 3 year warranty, first, let me apologize to you, because this probably means that some greedy sales person has led you to believe that less is more. When it comes to warranty, less is never more.
The RhinoHoist by ShoreMaster is truly a better boat lift, that’s why we back it up with such an amazing warranty. We’ve been manufacturing boat lifts for a long time. In fact, we manufacture more styles of boat lift than any other manufacturer on the market. Naturally we’ve learned a lot about how to manufacture just about every style of boat lift and we’ve been able to apply this knowledge to the design and manufacture of the RhinoHoist. We design and manufacture every RhinoHoist tank at our corporate headquarters in Fergus Falls, Minnesota and every RhinoHoist frame is manufactured at Galva-Foam, our Lake of the Ozarks facility in Camdenton, Missouri. This helps us keep our costs down, while enabling us to maintain the exceptional quality that you expect from a ShoreMaster product. We won’t make any outrageous claims that controlling the engineering, quality control, and customer service in-house (all things we do) are an “Industry Exclusive”. To us, it’s simply the cost of creating a better product. Don’t let anyone fool you by telling you otherwise. Our experience has allowed us to create a better boat lift, and a better boat lift warranty, something that the competition just can’t claim.

To be able to offer a lifetime warranty, we first went through a legal process where we analyzed our ability honor the warranty (company strength), and the quality of the product being warranted (product strength). ShoreMaster is able to both honor our Lifetime warranty and build a product that can withstand a lifetime warranty. If other manufacturers used this same process, it may come as no surprise that they can’t or won't offer a lifetime warranty.

If you’ve read other boat lift manufacturer’s warranties, maybe you missed the part about having to return the defective part to the manufacturer’s facility and prepay the freight costs (something many other manufacturer’s may require). ShoreMaster doesn’t operate like this. We are easier to do business with and every RhinoHoist is sold only through an Authorized ShoreMaster retailer, not a corporate store that competes with its dealers for sales and service. Because of this, you are sure to find an authorized ShoreMaster retailer in your area when, or if, any warranty repairs or service needs to be performed.
Companies that claim to be “the industry leader” typically are anything but. Usually, they are the “industry leader” at claiming to be the “industry leader”.
